Celia's Mexican Restaurant

Went here for Valentine's day dinner. We are vegetarian and choices were poor for us. Since rice is cooked in chicken broth, we ended up with lot of beans. We've had better Mexican meals than this.

Being from Texas, I feel like I have a certain bias towards Mexican food. I judge Mexican food restaurants by two things, the salsa and the fajitas.I had the opportunity to try both tonight, and I wasn't disappointed. The salsa was flavorful, but with just a small amount of heat. I prefer salsa that will melt your face off, but this salsa was mild and yummy.The fajitas were tender and delicious, they came out sizzling hot with fresh tortillas.I'll be returning in the very near future!

5 stars because I've been coming to this restaurant for 20 years, service and food is always fantastic but today's food and service was a 1 star. We had the cocktail and the shrimp was super over cooked vs cooking fresh shrimp the server made us order another plate. No apologies were made. it seemed like the server didn't want to be there.. overall food and service was horrible.. gave a 5 again tonight because it was the exception to the rule.. every one has bad days.

Great restaurants run buy a great family. My family has been going there for over 40 years and never had a bad experience. Try their Chile Colorado, it is the best!

Guacamole was great but the Fajitas were another story, vegetables had know flavor and were not cooked enough. The service was very good.

I have been going to Celias for years. Once in a while I go for a treat. Good food. I would rather eat than take pictures. Maybe you. Should try the food too. Enjoy!!!!

All there is nice and good. Good food and good price.

Love this place. Great atmosphere and fast, friendly service. Chips and salsa made in house and they're tasty with just the right kick. Sofitos with steak tender and delicious.

It has such a fun vibe and the food is really good. This has become a new favorite spot for us

Good service, good food

We come here with family when we're in town because they really like it. The people are nice, but service is always very slow. lt's definitely a bit pricey for Mexican food. Maybe if they made the plates smaller, they would not need to charge so much for just average tasting food.

Salsa and chips were hella good right when you walk in you get a delicious smell the food was great and they have a full bar with many mixed drinks as well

One of my all time favorite spots on earth. And they make great margaritas too. Love the food.

Good atmosphere. Food was ok, we received half of all our food and it was difficult to get our server. She might have been new. But the desserts saved the star. sopapillas and fried ice cream was spot on.

My Favorite Mexican restaurant for over 45 years.

I have been to Celia's once before, and I got the most basic Tostada in existence. It was good, but I never felt like I gave Celia's a chance to impress. Well, today is my 10th anniversary with my partner so we revisited a place with fond memories. This time I got the Sopitos with chicken and let me tell you, I don't think I've ever had a better dish at a Mexican Restaurant. It was beautifully presented, perfectly cooked and delivered faster than I could have hoped for such a large order. The restaurant itself is well decorated, well lit and invitingly colored. The staff were friendly and quick to assist in all manner of our dining experience. I'll definitely come back again!

We went there for a late lunch without ever being there before and without any expectations. I had ordered a combination plate of Chille Renno, Tamala and enchilada. I was surprised at the portions of the plate. It was served with rice and beans. The food great tasting and flavorful. However, the service was subpar. We saw our server at the taking of our order and then at the bill. Someone else brought our food and our drinks were never refilled. If it wasn't for the food tasting flavorful, it would not have have passed a 3 star rating

Food and service were excellent. The shredded beef chimis were probably the best I've ever had. My son also enjoyed the kids nuggets.It was the most expensive Mexican restaurant I've ever been to!

Pros: Food is good. Portions are huge. The ambience is nice too. Cons: This particular location of Celia's seems to have bad service. No one checked on our table except to take the order and get us the cheque. Food is a tad on the pricier side even for the large portion size. Dinner for 4 with a drink each ran up to $100.

My favorite family style Mexican restaurant. I always have to eat here when I'm in town. The carnitas is excellent.

Very beautiful and clean restaurant, charming decoration, nice staff and delicious Mexican food. As for drinks, the orchata is very good if you like sweet refreshments. There are many options for vegetarian people like me :)
